An Evening to Celebrate Marty Sklar

By Shannon Huang, Development & Communications Manager

On September 16, Leah Sklar and her family welcomed us into her home so we could come together again to celebrate Marty and his legacy as a mentor.

The stories, music, memories, art, food and wine all made for an enchanted evening. We are especially delighted guests were able to see and hear the impact of Ryman Arts on some of our graduates.

We shared a video about the Early Years of Ryman Arts and a tribute to Marty Sklar - both produced by The Hettema Group.

Marty has had a tremendous impact on us all and we hope our friends and supporters will stay with us on Ryman Arts’ journey forward to educate and mentor the next generation of young artists.
