The Sklar Creative Visionary Award celebration is just around the corner, on the evening of November 7, at the Majestic Downtown in Los Angeles. Created to honor the commitment and passion of Ryman Arts’ dear friends and founders Marty and Leah Sklar, the award highlights an individual who has demonstrated and exemplified the creative vision and passion for the arts and for the education of young people that Marty and Leah have clearly exemplified for all of us. This year, the Sklar Creative Visionary Award will honor Kevin Feige, Producer and President of Marvel Studios.

The evening’s festivities will kick off with a VIP reception that includes a dynamic panel discussion on the creation of Black Panther and how the production crew brought the world of Wakanda to life. Ryman Arts is thrilled to announce that the film’s Oscar-nominated Director of Photography Rachel Morrison will be featured in the panel!
