Our next Art Outings will be at the Armory Center For the Arts to see my hands are monsters who believe in magic, a group exhibition that explores an artist’s capacity for the radical reimagination of the self through a process of unmaking and remaking. We’ll also learn about the history of the Armory. 

Celebrate the creativity of our young artists at the annual Ryman Arts Student Exhibition! Featuring artwork from the 2023–24 academic year, this in-person showcase invites students, families, and the public to view an inspiring selection of student work displayed throughout the Ryman Arts offices

Our Summer 2025 Art Outings will be at the Forest Lawn Museum to see Persona: Exploring Self-Portraiture, with an exclusive walkthrough by Ryman Arts alumnus, photo-based artist Matthew Brandt (Ryman '99), one of the artists featured in the exhibition. 

Join us as we celebrate the accomplishments of our 2025 graduates with a graduation ceremony followed by a wonderful reception where guests will enjoy food and refreshments and view the artwork by our talented young artists.

Ryman Arts is excited to present Art Outings with Ryman Arts, a series of events that brings together our alumni, students, and their families to cultural institutions around Southern California. Our goals are to connect our community to the contemporary arts around our region, provide socializing and networking opportunities between and among students and alumni, and to continue to be a source of art education (and fun) for our community.
